Great Value Afternoon Northern Parks Eco Tour....
Only available as a luxury ‘Private Charter’
This unique tour departs your Sydney Hotel at 2.30pm (later in summertime) in our New Range Rover. We travel north where your guide will prepare afternoon tea at one of Sydney’s best kept secrets before travelling on to Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park via our beautiful Northern Beaches region.
After exploring and photographing the National Park, we arrive at Waratah Park Earth Sanctury, former home of the famous ‘Skippy’ television series. As many of our unique Australian animals are nocturnal, we arrive just in time to see them venturing out for the night!
Waratah Park Earth Sanctury has been established to replace the wildlife of Sydney as it was at the time of first settlement in 1788. A 2km long feral-proof fence has been established and the original species, now scarce around Sydney, have been returned to live as they once did. See wallabies, kangaroos, bettongs, water rats, native ducks, glider possums, ringtail possums, brush tail possums and rare Pademelons.
You can even visit the original film set of ‘Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo’ and watch for Skippy’s descendants as they hop through the bush!
Our tour includes:
Sydney City Hotel pickup and return
entry into Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park
entry into Waratah Park Earth Sanctuary
traditional Australian Bush Bar-B-Que
torches and umbrellas provided
Leaving Waratah Park soon after dark, we have you back in the City in time for your nightime activities.
